Had another episode today
Since I’m in Tennessee with only one friend who is a total asshole I dated who cheated on me for months with his ex, and he was the reason for the onset, I don’t have anyone I trust enough to ask for help. Usually I would call my friend Mike and he would come over and hold me while I’d cry because otherwise, I’d be running around my room taking the drugs I could find and finding things I could hurt myself with. I realized that, here, I don’t have anyone but me, and I need to change things and do things differently. I cried and tried holding myself but it made it even worse. Walking around an empty room is useless. Staring at my box of medications, I thought about how I wanted to break myself, shatter glass, destroy anything…so I innovated. I grabbed a stack of loose leaf paper, a lighter, and sat in the bathtub burning them one at a time, playing soft music until I was calmed down and thinking rationally again. I didn’t know tubs could get burned, but I learned Clorox bleach effectively removes all burn marks. I’ve found a new depression hobby.
I’d be the first one to jump if it meant living life like in this movie, “The Beach”. Weed, sex, sun, sand…that’d be the fucking life. I’d do anything for that.
